Hartmut Böhm: Progression Towards Infinity

It's hard to understand why there isn't a lot written online about the internationally known artist Hartmut Böhm. Frankly, I just found out about him a few days ago reading about the Zero art collective that started in the 1960s, which was more or less a group of German artists who put on one night shows in their studios.

Böhm's work lies somewhere between Concrete Art and abstract minimalism. The concept behind his pieces follows what he calles "Progressionen gegen Unendlich" or in english, progression towards infinity, where he reduces all forms down to it's underlying grid-like structure.
