Tatsuo Kuroda: Wirewood Chair + One Molds

The work of Japanese designer Tatsuo Kuroda is quietly clever. I quite like his two projects Wirewood Chair and One Molds. The chair mixes up the traditional mid century forms with a shaker-like bottom and an unexpected lightweight wire top. One Molds is a series of ceramics that all appear different but come from one, interchangeable mold for making. Clever indeed!
