Mischer'Traxler: Collective Works

Austrian duo Mischer'Traxler created a basket making machine called Collective Works that senses the closeness of the crowd to manipulate the fabrication. When a crowd approaches, the machine starts to roll out a strip of veneer and glue to build the basket. When more people gather, the felt tip markers touch the spinning basket creating a unique design.
