Recently was I started using marble as a material and I instantly fell in love! With the right tools, the naturally hard material cuts like butter. While working, I kept thinking of the exhibition by the marble manufacturer
Marsotto Edizioni that was showcased at Milan this past season where different designers were chosen to create a piece of furniture with the marble. I thought it was interesting how many of them translated the material as wood by using classic joints and familiar cross sections.
