Painter Eva Berendes questioned why her painting but be done within the expectations of a canvas. She decided to transcend the canvas and create spaces filled with shapes and objects that “abolishing any distinction between the inimitable and the mass-produced.” I love this work. The style is very of the moment, but the overall concept is timeless.
